We had some minor basement remodeling work done; installed ~470 sq ft ceramic flooring, new drywall & insulation, painting, baseboards, new dryer vent piping.

Arthur and his crew did a very nice job on the project. The work was of high quality & professional. The workers were courteous, on time, worked very hard, and communicated when issues surfaced. There was minor up charges to the original quote since the flooring installation was more complicated than originally quoted. That was an extra $800. My wife and I were very happy with the project outcome (and I am quite critical), especially the value of the work. We had many other quotes but his was the most competitive. I would highly recommend Highland Builders.

Description Of Work:
I remodeled the 2nd floor of my house to create a custom walk-in closet in the master bedroom and combine two small rooms to create one large bedroom/office. A linen closet was built in the upstairs hall. I also had carpet replaced in the bedrooms. I replaced the previously carpeted stairs and banisters to the upper level and to the basement with cherry hardwood. Also installed - engineered wood in the family room on the lower level. All the rooms were repainted, light fixtures installed and finished in accordance with my requests.

Owner Arthur Luberda was outstanding in his attention to my requests. He made several suggestions that I am so glad I accepted. One idea was to create a large ceiling to floor closet in the new bedroom, with shelves, drawers and double hanging rods instead of the standard closet I had planned. He was able to provide a high quality carpet at a reasonable price. The most outstanding part of my remodel was the carpentry work in the hallway and stairs. The craftsmen were prompt, courteous and took care to clean carefully at the end of each work day. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to continue to use my master bedroom throughout the project period. I highly recommend this company for any remodeling project. I am already planning for my next project with Highland Builders!
